Defective Can (9.5 oz) - Leaked from pressure tab on bottom. Bought a multiple can pack of Edge Shave Gel for Men Sensitive Skin. Went to get my second can to open and use, only to find out that the tab (rubber/plastic) on the bottom of the can had leaked, letting all of the shaving cream inside leak out into the vanity drawer it was stored in. Created a mess of foam. Nothing left in the can and no pressure. I'm a long time customer and this is the first time this has happened. Only gave it 2 Stars because of this leaking can and mess. I'll continue to use it, but hope this is the only time this happens.

I was on this site maybe 4 or so months ago reciting the new fangled product's obvious defects. I received an email in response insisting it was a mistaken mixture in the product's manufacturing and that they'd figured it out - trust us, when you buy it next time it'll be great. I'm here today to say I didn't bother buying it again because of the dismissive assumption I would and it makes me feel confirmed from the newest comments Schick's obvious gambit to go cheap hasn't worked out. Goombye to a brand I trusted for decades.

So sorry, but the recent formulary change to Edge was a change in the wrong direction, I have been using Edge for YEARS since it was my go-to shaving gel. But in the last week I picked up a couple cans of Edge in the new can shape which left me wondering if the product inside had also changed. Sure enough, this is not the Edge shave gel that I've used and enjoyed for years. The new product is extremely watery, does not foam well, does not adhere to skin as well, does not result in a protective film for my skin, and even smells differently. Sorry, the new Edge is NOT an improvement. In fact, it is a change in the wrong direction. Bring back the old formulation and I will remain a loyal customer. Otherwise, I am officially in search of a new shaving cream.

As a 50-year customer, I was impressed by the handsome new look but a little worried about the number of shaves it would provide. Without counting, it seemed about the same as the old can. Also, I'm delighted with the fragrance of the Cedarwood-Shea Butter variety. Every time I used it I'm carried back to my days in Bermuda, where so many interiors were built using local cedar. Thanks for the time travel!

I cannot figure out how to release the valve cap. I cut both the tabs holding the button in place, and it came off. Can someone tell me the proper way to release the button?

My husband and I have used this product for over 40 years. Ever since the new packaging it only lasts about a week and a half. It used to last a month or longer. what have ya'll done? Are ya'll putting less in? Please change it back. Will use something else until you do.

Watery consistency....no longer will purchase this product

Been using Edge shave gel for over a decade. Their new formula is absolute garbage and I'm unfortunately now switching to a different product. What a shame.

Too thin. Not like it used to be The formula has changed and it is not even close to what it was. I will switch to Gillette
