Ever since my stress incontinence has improved I love wearing these shields. Except, the only recommendation I would have is that they consider a redesign. I consider the current shield design more appropriate for a woman. For a male, and I will be very blunt, we require a little more wider coverage... from the middle to upper portion of the shield. A male tends to move back and forth and the coverage is a little limited. Don't get me wrong, this is a great product, I just wish it was a little wider to accommodate movement or the swing motion of our parts. Food for thought?
The men's shields need more adhesive, either the entire shield or three individual strips, especially on the edges. It appears this pad was designed for a woman, men have too much activity and the shields I have used curl up on the edges and my member sometimes get struck on the adhesive strip. When... women urinate they simply drop their panties, urinate, wipe, and pull their panties back up, no other movement. When men urinate, they need to pull their underwear aside, urinate, and move everything back where it belongs. When this all happens, the edges of the shields curl back and sometimes the member is left between the shield and the underwear. Let's face it, most men want to use the urinal and they are not going to stand in front of the urinal (especially with other men standing next to them) open their pants, pull down the front of their underwear and urinate, they want to open their fly and pull it out, urinate, and replace it, like normal men do. I would wear the shields if they stayed in place better but find them to be more trouble than they are worth, as in their current design.

depend.com/After the removal of my prostate due to cancer,I have had to deal with moderate urinary incontinence. I have tried many different pads with relatively satisfactory results. Then I discovered Depend Shields. Initially I was quite pleased with the product as it met my needs and is of a good design - although it could perhaps be made a bit more wider. But now I can no longer wear these pads because every single time I use one it causes a severe skin rash. This problem happens exclusively with this incontinence product. I believe others have reported this problem. There is something in the composition of the pads that triggers this unfortunate reaction. Sorry, but I can no longer use these.
This product is just what I need. I don't have a heavy flow issue, just don't want the small wet spots on my pants to cause embarrassment. The Shields are very comfortable and I wear them throughout the day. A lot of the time I am not aware that have them on. Thanks for this product. My confidence is back.
I replace pads on a daily basis. tried the "light" which worked fine at the time! Bought some. Problem is that when I remove the use pads, the bottom of the pad comes apart to the gel in between layers which isn't nice. If that's still the problem let me know.
I've been using shields for about three years. In the past 12 months or so I have experienced irratation issues. I just have occasional drip issues since my prostatectomy but the irritation seems to flare up several times a week even with frequent pad changes. Using a Destin type cream seems to help, but the flare-ups still occur. Very frustrating.
These are way too thin and do not even absorb my drips and dribbles during the day. I have a weak bladder and need to go every hour to 90 minutes on the average and I cant hold it in more than about 15 to 30 minutes so its an emergency when the urge to go hits. I let small amounts out to save myself from losing control and having a huge wetting accident. I tried these inside my tighty whitey underwear and a huge wet spot on my slacks and it was obvious I wet my pants. I only let small amounts out till I hit the urinal. Another time when bending down I began to dribble and these did not hold much and a wet spot again. Once though when I had to go and made it and relieved myself when zipping up a few dribbles came out and those held well. These are more for the residue after someone goes than for even light loss of bladder control which is what I am plagued with. The Depend Guards work fare better for me during the day. So I gave these shields to my brother who has normal bladder control and work better for him after he goes. Unsure they can even hold the guy stuff well. Would not recommend for even light incontinence. At Night I use the briefs with tabs being I have complete loss at night.
the adhesive sticks to my underware and it is very hard to remove it. Sometimes its ok, but other times I have to throw away my underware cause I cannot remove the adhesive.
Handles occasional leaks well. Adhesive strip occasionally comes apart when removing from underwear leaving part of the pad stuck to the underwear. Very messy to try and remove.

depend.com/I tried them and for me I thought they were ok. I don't need them yet so I cannot give a fair review. Comfortable to wear
Like some others have indicated, the pads seem fine initially but after a day or so, even when there is no apparent wetness, the target area and surrounding portion of my thighs are bright sunburn-red and itch like crazy. Additionally, a blister has appeared near the tip of my private region. I'm able to relieve the itching with body lotion, though it's not always practical to apply. As for the blister, I'm in wait and see mode.
