I dont know why, brands love to change the formula for worst. This one dries my skin, it is so light, doesn't nourish at all, worst lotion I tried, I used the old version for years, even the scent was good, my skin was perfect, used to get a lot compliment about my skin and all I used was the old version. But please, if the old version returns, DO NOT change or add ingredients, HA is not for everyone, I wish the old version comes back with no more changes just as it was before.

I am so sad they changed the formula and pump! This has been my go to for probably a decade; the only lotion that didn't leave my hands greasy. The new formula leaves my hands greasy, doesn't soak in as well, doesn't moisturize as well, and has a strong, different scent. The pump is smaller which is less comfortable, and the opening isn't as slanted, so the lotion squirts forward rather than down. Please return to the old version that we all loved!

There are more pollutant chemicals in this product than there are natural. Specifiically alcohol. The use of the word "Shea" is decieving and the product bottle itself has the print of ingredients so small it cannot be read with 20/20 vision or glasses. It requires a magnifying glass and that is by the manufacturers design so you dont know what the ingredients are. Cetearyl Alcohol is a skin irritant for obvious reasons. There is more of that than actual Shea in the product. It should be called Glyceryl Stearate Citrate Cetearyl Alcohol Lotion.

I have used Nivea products for most of my life without incident. Tried the Shea Nourish recently and could not be more disappointed. As other reviewers note, the formula is very thin and has a strong, perfume-y scent. More disturbing, my arms and chest broke out in a painful rash after only a couple days of use. Terrible product.

I've been a loyal Nivea customer for over 10 years, and the Shea Lotion has always been my go-to. The previous formula was wonderfully thick, nourishing, and kept my skin hydrated all day. Unfortunately, the updated version doesn't deliver the same results. It feels thinner, more water-based, and leaves my skin feeling dry shortly after application. I truly hope Nivea will consider revisiting the original formula, or at least offering it alongside the new one, because it was a product I could always rely on.

I had used this product for about 10 years. The last few years I've stopped and moved to different products, but decided to go back because I used to love this lotion, it was thick, moisturizing, and smelled delicious and fresh and was so nostalgic for me. When I bought this, I was so disappointed. It's incredibly watery and thin, this is supposed to have shea butter in it, which is thick. I have such dry skin and even putting multiple layers of this new formula on leaves my skin is completely dry within minutes, it doesn't even feel like I've put on lotion!! The scent smells completely different and like a sort of powder as well. The consistency is like a daily facial water-based moisturizer, this is supposed to be a shea butter body lotion for dry skin that claims to last 48 hours, it should not be this thin. This was extremely disappointing considering how good the product was before. Please change the formula back!!

I have been using this lotion for years, and always loved the fresh clean smell and how moisturizing it was. The newest bottle I got has an awful powder smell to it now, and leaves my skin dry. This is so disheartening, why did you have to change something that was absolutely perfect?? I bought the big value size like I usually do, and it's going in the trash.

I've been using this particular Nivea for many, many years. My last 2 bottles have a powder like smell. I've also noticed it is not as moisturizing as it used to be. I noticed that a while ago, but loved the clean scent. Now the scent is different and frankly off putting. Upset I just bought another one thinking the last bottle was just defective. Seems like this is a new formula. I'll be looking for a new moisturizer .

My hands feel more dry after using this lotion than before. Very disappointed. Other Nivea shea products were much better than this. I will be using other brands of lotion.

I know this lotion has bad reviews based mainly on lack of moisture. I admit that I used it a while ago and even though I liked it a lot, it was lacking a bit for me at the time. I decided to give it another go since my skin has been particularly picky lately and I really love this simple but great formula (its smell is also milder than the rest of the Niveas in my opinion). Nivea, I would love to know if you've improved the formula because now it's AMAZING!! So nourishing without feeling heavy! It softens, moisturizes, it's perfection to me. For you sensitive skin peeps, give this a try!!! Also, the aroma is mild and milky. SO GOOD!
