In just a couple of usages my hair dried out completely. From soft, shiny curls to straw. I'm so upset. I'm deep conditioning it now and hope the damage isn't permanent.

I bought the lotion as I tried the cream as it was okay. After one week of use, I couldn't figure out what was going on with my hair. There were white flakes falling from my hair, and my curls had absolutely no life to them. The worst part was how it dried out my hair so quickly and so brutally. I had to throw the product into the trash. I am so disappointed with this product and the results. Now I am trying to get my nice, soft, healthy hair again, but your product has dried out my hair so badly, that I can't seem to bring it back despite al of the treatments I attempt. Don't buy this product.

I bought this today and I can't be happier! I put it on damp, clean hair and left it to air dry. My hair feels very soft without any crunchiness or stiffness!!! I absolutely love this product ... after buying many other types of curl cream, this one will be the only one I get from now on!! And a bonus feature ... it smells amazing!!

I bought this a while ago and it just sat around until I ran out of my Odele air dry cream. I was wondering what all the white specks were on my black outfit until I got to a mirror and saw my hair looked disgustingly flakey. Plus, it really doesn't do anything for curls.

I have used this product for more than 7 years. The last two times I've purchased, have been totally disappointed. First, the product's bottle changed to a smaller size that cost more. With inflation, I was okay with that because I (used to) love the product. The new version is watered down, it is not as thick as it used to be. And most importantly, it no longer controls frizz. I'm using twice as much product as I did prior, and it still doesn't work. I no longer recommend the Curl Defining Lotion!

I bought this and have tried to give it a chance but its in the garbage now, i have thick curly hair naturally without any product, and this makes it pin straight with ugly little curls at the ends.

I loved this product and recently they changed the formula. It is more liquid like vs. a lotion and dries out your hair. Wish they would go back to the old formula - now they are just like other products for girls - they were the best on the market before.

This is horrible I washed my hair today and used this product did my hair went to a graduation only to find my hair was basically white omg it looked like I had the worst case of dandruff will not buy again such a waste of money!

After using this product 5 times, following the product instructions on how to apply on my hair. Every time it dries the cream formed flakiness and looked like dandruff. It was the most noticeable result when it dried because my colleagues at work called it out too me this time.
