After applying glazing gel, I spray this on my hair. It helps activate curl and if I style with an iron, it protects from the heat.

Works fine but smells weird. Seems to have a bit of a stickiness too it which can be good if you're looking for some extra hold. I feel there's better, cheaper protectant out there.

chi.comI used it multiple different ways, on wet hair, damp hair, dry hair but it all had one thing in common - it made my hair feel dry, weighed down and sticky. I tried not using much, then tried using in between of "not much" and "too much", even used a lot but it's all the same. I have 1B, bleached hair so maybe that's why?? Idk, I was excited to use this product since I seen its good reviews but now it's the last thing I reach for. I prefer my drugstore heat protection over this one, I used it today to try and give it another chance but washed my hair after due how sticky it is, I also wasn't really expecting to the smell to be like that haha, it's more musky? I would have to brush my roots because it would really clump there and make my hair look greasy and dirty.
