Love the added health benefit
This Tidy Cats Tidy Care Alert Cat Litter is a pretty good invention. It gave me insight into my cat's health that I wouldn't otherwise known had the litter not changed color. I'm usually a clumping clay cat litter user. So this was a huge change for me. The first day I was convinced that I could sm...

Might be good for a single cat home
I have 2 cats in my home. I ordinarily use clumping litter as I find it easy to keep the litter clean by removing the clumps. I however really liked the idea of the litter helping me monitor my cats health. The concept of the litter changing colors based on the changes in the cats urine could litera...

Crystal Cat Litter
Day 3 and so far I am loving this litter and only having to scoop the poop. Order control is great so far
Little crystals
Little crystal balks get stuck between cat toes and we find all over the house. Annoying
The Dust Is A Killer
The crystal litter works as advertised and is easy to scoop. My Cats don't mind this litter at all however, I Do. When you Pour the litter in the pan your greeted with a cloud of dust Including each and every time you scoop and stir the litter. It will choke you not to mention the dried cat urine that is bound to be attached to the dust. I have never used a litter this dusty. Purina fix the dust issue and then I'll buy it again.
Pee-U
I switched this month from Pretty Litter to Tidy Cat Crystals. Big mistake, but at least now I know that Tidy Cat doesn't hold up. There IS a lot of dust and, after following instructions, it didn't quite make it to 2 weeks. Pretty Litter lasts for a month and is dust free. Also, unlike Pretty Litter, Tidy Cat Crystals gets all over both of my cats. It looks like dandruff. It also doesn't mask the urine smell. If I were the creators, I would go back to the lab and fix it. There is a huge market out here that Pretty Litter is dominating. Too bad because Tidy Cats is a bit cheaper and I was rooting for them.
Help me knw my cat had a uti
Would buy again really help me knw more bout my cats urine issues and detect blood
Cat litter
My cat Cheddar prefers this over any other cat litter. He doesn't like the other brands or texture of some.
Very poor odour control.
I have 2 cats and was excited to try Tidy Cat Alert, which appeared to be a more affordable le alternative to Pretty Litter. Unfortunately, 5 days in, the cat urine smell is already unbearable, despite my having used the same volume I'd been using with Pretty Litter (which controlled the odour for almost 2 full weeks). It was worth a try, but I won't be buying this again.
Great for Health Monitoring
I really love the idea of having a litter like this for my 16 year old cat. You never know when something can pop up, especially with a cat her age. As a pet parent for elderly animals, keeping them in top condition during their golden years is my top priority. The only complaint, if you can really call it that, is that when I cleaned the box the crystals had dyed the bottom of the litter pan. It looks like a snow cone melted in her litter box. 🤣 Otherwise, I totally recommend this for any owner of an older cat.
Helps Me Monitor Mischief's Health
I was really excited to try this cat litter because I like to keep on top of my 18 year old kitty's health. The concept is great: the litter has a ph-detection that changes color to indicate various pH levels. It's easy to use and my Mischief adapted well to it. The crystals are lightweight and very absorbent, and relatively good at neutralizing odors. I will say that there is a tremendous amount of tracking, and also because it's non-clumping, I've needed to replace the entire box more frequently than when I've used her regular clumping litter. I'll probably continue to use this litter occasionally, switching out with her clumping litter, but overall I recommend it as this is a great way to monitor your feline's health. I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. #sponsored
Nice Product, but Pricey
I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. #ad I tried this with our 3 boys and they all seemed to adjust to it quickly. The litter seems like a great tool to check for urinary health issues. None of our 3 changed the color, which was reassuring. Our oldest cat eats prescription food for urinary crystals and infections, so it would be handy to use this litter before calling the vet. Unfortunately, it's a bit too pricey for us to use regularly in our 3 cat household.
