Bought for use mainly on torso, legs & arms when going for long walks in the city (I never run) or doing Pilates on the Deck in shorts and/or tanks. Tried it on the face as well. No irritation or over drying on my clean Normal/Combo Mature skin. Gives shiny, but no white cast. Does not minimise skin texture. A bit sticky, road dust does cling when out & about and I do feel pulling away from my mat. However, purchaced for being Active, in situations where I will be sweating then washing up shotly afterwards, not sitting about and taking selfies. Quite sure Banana Boat has other sunscreens more suitable for meeting Aesthetic demands.

Used a lot of it all over it was only 74 degrees out and I got burnt so bad can barely move I'll never use banana boat again !!!

Very disappointed. I bought a new bottle of their spf 30. I have always loved and bought banana boat products. Now their new formula contains an awful strong perfume fragrance that I reacted to. Old "ultra sport" formula contains no fragrance and smelled like good old suntan lotion. Why ruin a perfectly good formula with this crap!

I loved the sport performance, it was a light breathable formula , non greasy, but they discontinued it, and replaced it with sport ultra, which is greasy and nothing like the performance. Now the only place you can find it, is online, and some stores might have it, but most don't. What a shame, a good product, replaced, why do companies replace items, that are loved, for something else. after my tube is gone, I will have to search once again for another sunscreen.

I tried many sunscreens after my skin cancer diagnosis and this Banana Boat Sport 50 is the only one that didn't feel greasy to me, and didn't have a strong smell. It feels good on your skin like lotion and has a nice smell. It's my favorite and the only one I'll use.

BB Sport Ultra SPF 50 feels super greasy and tacky, I looked and felt like I slathered on cooking oil. It didn't absorb well, and felt heavy. I hated the feel of it.

Normally Banana Boat works great for me, and normally SPF 50+ works effectively also (I have the complexion of a ghost). Unfortunately I burned straight through this one. I knew I didn't block my back very well and got a little burned there, but I made straight for my upper arms to start with and my shoulders are bright red. Having a shirt with sleeves on two days later is a trial because I was burned so badly. I've burned through sunblock before but not usually SPF 50+ (that's why I buy SPF 50 minimum and won't use anything lower). I should not be this badly burned; I use sunblock religiously because I'm so prone to sunburn and this was a brand new bottle. It's like I didn't use sunblock at all and I wasn't even out in the sun that long.

No zinc or titanium? Dermatologist wants zinc or titanium as active ingredient

We have been using this and smothering it In and still getting burnt. It is in use by date??

We used this sunblock on my son and he had a horrible reaction, his face swelled, blistered and rashed really bad. He was in so much pain.
