Love the product for my curly hair but the cap / nozzle breaks Everytime. It even arrives broken from the store. There are reviews 4 years old saying the same thing about the cap. Please fix this! It makes your product unusable when the cap is broken.

My hair's been thinning for a few years now and thought I was doomed to having flat hair all the time, until I found the Volumizing Mousse and my fine hair has some life again. It lasts from one shampoo to the next with only air drying. I can't wait to try with my diffuser. Thank you for this product!! Your new devotee!!

I would give the actually mousse a 5 star rating but the cheap plastic nozzle that keeps breaking gives it a 1 star. As other reviewers have commented, the new bottles seem to use a cheap plastic nozzles that break after only ONE use! I'm on my second bottle and both bottles broke. I have been using this product for years and know they have changed their packaging to a cheaper plastic. Please fix this or I'll have to stop buying your product.

I've used this product every day for almost 10 years and would never switch.

I purchased this after searching the never-ending aisle of hair products. Saw that it was "max hold" and from the description, felt it was the best product for my hairstyle. Wrong. Right from the get-go, it's all wrong. I had a bit of a struggle to get the cap off then when I went to press the nozzle button to extrude the mousse, I could not get it to engage. I had to use both hands to press on the button. Finally some mousse came out, enough for application. I figured because it was new, maybe the next day the button would not be so rigid. Nope. I have used this mousse every day for a week and each time, it is so difficult to get the button to engage. Whoever came up with the design for this product - failure on their part. The can is very smooth and let's face it: it's mostly women using this stuff and they have likely just put on lotion of some description so their hands are going to have it on them, thus the can is even more slippery. (But I have tried doing this without any lotion on my hands at all and it's still a slippery can). It needs ridges or a somewhat rough finish on the can in order to grip. And the button on the can needs to be something much easier to press. As for the "max hold"....it's not. I have short hair that I wear in a tousled fashion and this stuff does not do what it claims. Within an hour of putting it on, my hair looks flat - it's not a max hold at all. I expected a much better product than this from Herbal Essences.
