Purchased about 5 months ago. Used ~5 or 6 times before I noticed one of the wires on a beater had disconnected from the beater. It's not very powerful either. I expected more from this brand.

So far, so good. I bought this a month ago and have only used it a few times. I'll know better a year from now, depending on how it lasts.
Met my expectations
When I bought it, it was dirty. Not necessarily a kitchen aid problem but was resold dirty. I have not had a chance to even use it yet either

Love This!
I received this as a gift and I am quite impressed with it. I found that it worked as well as my larger stand mixer but was easier to use for smaller jobs. I also love that the beaters are not thick, sharp ones of old but whisk/whip as well.
Was nice while it lasted.
Good mixer for use from time to time. I expect it to fail like the previous one did, as you need to be very careful not to mix thick mixtures, that will put stress on the gears inside that will fail and cannot be replaced. Normal wear an tear? probably not. Plastic fatigue? not in this case. Just be nice with it.
Hand mixer
Beaters made very slim and seem flimsy thought speed wasn't great took a long time to beat egg whites with no whisk beaters included
Amazing blender in its price point
I bought this a month ago, the functionality and performance of the device is amazing. No other brands can came near to this consistent motor output speed and low heat. I found the speed adjusting know is tilted slightly to sideways, this doesn't affect the functionality and its a bit disappointing in lookwise.
