what a surprise to see when I was looking for cat food for my Sugar. I just notice the label that said "no grain" and an arrow pointing to the first ingredient, which as a Chicken. So I picked up one turkey and one chicken for my girl, and wow she dove right in and loved it. Then I read the label t...o see who made it, imagine my surprise to see Purina!! After years of being told by Vets that grocery store cat food wasn't good quality for our pets, I find yes it can be, because a company cared enough to hear the consumers and that we want the best we can afford for our fur kids.
wow. i find it odd that they emphasize steroid-free dhidken--probably hoping no one reads the asterisked info--which says that chicken with steroids is not allowed in ANY dog food--even the cheapest, grain-laden garbage you can buy in the dollar store.. now, if it were stated "chicken raised wit...hout antibiotics" (which thy do not say), i might consider feeding this to my dog--except for the fact that this overpriced dog food, though free of wheat, corn and soy does not contain minerals in the form of chelates, proteinates, amino acid complexes, polypeptides, and polysaccharides, which are more easily and thoroughly absorbed. none of purina's foods contain these--not even the even pricier pro plan or the ultra-pricey veterenary diets. these are enough for me to rate this with one star--even though i have not fed this to my dog. pleas read labels--on both your pet's food and your own, and know that nationally recognized brands are not always the best choice. many foods that do contain antibiotic-free chicken and chelates are not as expensive as purina. understand that you are paying for the name and their advertising. caveat emptor... note: i doubt this commentary will ever reach this page and the misinformed public. if the moderators or the company have anything to say, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We changed to Beyond Simply two years ago at the advice of our vet. Saphira is 14 year old border collie and Karma is 10 year old Cairn Terrier. Since changing and adding Beyond canned turkey their quality of life has improved immensely
I have 2 dogs, one is 7 the other is still a puppy. I had a coupon for this Beyond food so bought it. They both absolutely love this dog food! This review was submitted in exchange for an entry to the Free Purina Petfood for a Year Contest.

I like that when I look at the ingredients , I can pronounce them and recognize them.
Wally had dentistry and had to have many teeth removed. After a few years as a stray cat living outdoors but now living indoors as a king, he requires small morsel tasty cat food that Beyond food supplies in a yummy flavour according to him!

My Dog loves Purina Beyond Simply Farm-Raised Chicken & Whole Barley Recipe Dry Dog Food. He cleans his bowl and would eat the whole bag if he could. We love the fact it is made with simple ingredients and he loves it. This review was provided for a free entry into the contest to win Purina pet food for a year.

purina.ca/We cycle through different food flavours and brands monthly for our dogs as they get bored with the same protein source and flavours over time. Dogs love it. Healthy skin and coats. No tummy upset. I recommend! -This review was submitted in exchange for an entry to the Free Purina Petfood for a Year Contest

purina.ca/The product is available at multiple stores. The price is comparable to other brands. My dogs love the taste. The product has more than one flavor..The product is sold in 2 size bags. The ingredient list is short. I have no cons for this product.
When we adopted our 9 year old Chocolate Lab he had some pretty obvious GI problems - turns out he's allergic to just about everything! Pumpkin, sweet potato, probiotics... you name it, it upset his tummy. We tried the vet suggested foods, and nothing worked. I did some research and found Purina Beyond Simply with limited ingredients. He loves it, and all his tummy troubles disappeared. So grateful I found it!
Tried more than one beyond dry and canned dog food . All good quality ingredients but my CC Wolfe would not eat any of it. He's one fussy pup.
Made my dog violently sick and when I took him to the vet he said he was also lacking in the amino acid and that it's due to the food being low on meat
