I've been buying this product for a few months. I buy the Chicken, cranberry and garden vegetables. I always check the date on bag before I open it. But for some reason it starts to smell spoiled after a few days. It smells up my refrigerator. Does anyone else have this issue?

My dog has some digestive health issues so I decided to try freshpet. Not long after he started in the product, he developed pancreatitis and my vet shared that they see a lot of cases of this related to FreshPet products. My dog is now hospitalized and it will cost $4000 to treat him.

I been feeding my dog only human cooked dehydrated freeze dried organic foods. Idc how expensive it is i have the money to care for my little princess to the T. Between dr. Marty and pet fresh their the only dog food I buy for her. She loves pet fresh. Its the best. Helps with digestion and ease

I bought this product from my supermarket. Got it home to feed to my 5 dogs. It looked like burnt garbage. No vegetables no meat nothing what the package said and nothing like the picture. Never buy again.Hard as a rock. Dogs refused to eat it. wasted my money

I bought this as a "special treat" for my dog Daisy and she ended up liking it more than anything else I'd fed her before, time went on and I had no choice to add this as her regular meal and she couldn't be happier. She knows when its time and when she hears me grab that bag she comes running. I feel its helped her energy levels, maybe its just me. Funny enough, my 10 year old son thinks her food "smells good"! Can't say that about anything else.

Apparently untested fresh dog foods are causing liver disease from the high copper. All three of my dogs tested high copper…. Paying extra to kill my dogs when I thought it was supposed to be better than kibble.. not cool.

I have been using fresh pet now for a year and my dog likes the food and product. However, I will no longer buy this product at all and will now look for a alternative fresh dog food for my dog. I have gone beyond tired of every single bag by the time it's empty it's dry dog food because the bag rips when you open it. The tabs that are provided with the bag do not tear easily at all and 95% of the time tear the bag where the seal does not work any longer. As expensive as this food is I have grown very tired of the product. As I said I will be looking for a new Fresh food for my dog.

I can't say enough good things about Freshpet. My dog absolutely loves their food - but more importantly, it has completely changed her life. After doing a food and environmental intolerance test, I found out I was feeding her all the wrong things. Most of all, she just seems happy. Her energy is back, she's more playful, and honestly, she acts like she feels like a million bucks. Freshpet has not only earned a permanent place in my fridge — they've earned my complete trust. Thank you for giving my pup her spark back!

I am convinced this food which I thought was a healthier choice than kibble or canned gave my beloved 8 year old dog Candy a tumor in her stomach that got so large it started crushing her liver causing her so much pain I had to put her down immediately upon finding out. It makes me so sick to think about these pet food companies selling us toxic hazardous poison to feed our beloved little children. Never again will I buy prepackaged pet food. I will make it from my kitchen so I know I am not poisoning my little child if I ever get one again. The premature loss of candy is so hard I don't want to endure a loss like this again. Don't poison your pets with this garbage. They charge a lot of money to prematurely kill your beloved fur babies.

my dogs have been eating this food for many years and recently the look and smell of it isn't the same. It smells different and looks different. I don't know what they did tin making this food but my dogs don't even like it
