I have been purchasing Blue Buffalo for almost 10 years now, since I was a Pet Detective for them while in college. Today when I was about to purchase a 34lb bag of Lamb & Brown Rice, I was horrified to see that the ingredients have been changed. Previously, the first two ingredients were deboned lamb and fish meal, now they are deboned lamb and chicken meal. I fed this flavor to my dogs specifically due to it NOT having chicken meal in it. My 5 year old dog has a chicken allergy, and if I had fed this to him I would have had no idea why he became sick/had an allergic reaction to food he's eaten his entire life. When making such a crucial formula change, you would expect to see some kind of notice on the bag alerting people. Especially when BB knows people feed this and non-chicken flavors to their dogs specifically due to allergies. I know have to search for the old formula of this product so I have enough to start a transition from it to something else. I'm extremely disappointed in this brand for their lack of foresight into how not sharing this change on the bag could impact the lives of so many dogs.

My 2.5 year old Shiba Inu love Blue Buffalo. I bought her treats from the same brand as well. Very healthy and high quality dog food, easy to digest and reasonable price.

I have been a dog trainer ,breeder, and handler for 40 years, and this is the only food that I would use from puppy to senior! It is easy on their stomachs, easily digested, and it fills them up, so they are not begging throughout the day. All of my dogs have thick, shiny coats, and tons of energy!

I have been training, showing, and breeding dogs for 40 years and I LOVE Blue Buffalo dry food for all of my dogs! It is the only food that all of my dogs can easily digest. It gives them a ton of energy, a great coat, and fills them up so they aren't begging throughout the day. This is the ONLY food I will ever use-from puppy to senior!!!

I'm very frustrated that this food changed from fish meal to chicken meal. It's also extremely misleading that the front of the package states no chicken by products, which yes I understand what that means, yet the words "no" and "chicken" should not be used in the same sentence if the food contains any chicken ingredients.

I bought this food because it says on it as no chicken in it my dog as allergies so now she is sick again trusted blue buffalo it as Chicken fat enhances flavor while supplying omega fatty acids in it on bag it says our promise to you::TRUE BLUE PROMISE as fallow NO CHICKEN (OR POULTRY)BY PRODUCT MEALS then no corn ETC....TRUSTED BLUE BUFFALO IT AS CHICKEN FAT ENCHANCES FLAVOR unreal.....

I bought this food for my beabull, scrolling through the internet trying to find the best for my baby. i've noticed she's been trying to get in her food and laying in the kitchen more. there is filler in this dog food and is not filling her up as her old food did. if i could rate this a negative i would. it's sad that you charge so much for this food for it to be "good" but turn around and put bad stuff in it. do NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOG FOOD FOR ANYONE!!!

I have used Lamb and Brown rice for all my dogs and now all of a sudden they refuse to eat it. The color is much lighter and they behave like they did when I tried to feed them Chicken kibble on occasions. Has the formula changed ? Is there chicken in this now ? I cannot feed my dogs this any longer. I went to Basics Lamb but it's Grain Free. You can do better for our dogs General Mills this is not good as many dogs are allergic to or refuse to eat chicken kibble. I was a faithful Blue customer and sung your praises and now I have to switch brands.

This food is making my dogs throw up hours after eating and yet clearly not digested at all. I have used blue for 10+ years. Have used the lamb formulas. I have 3 very different dogs. 2 can eat it. I cannot buy this food again.

I've bought this for the last two months and my dog loves it won't go back to Purina one true instinct turkey and venison
