I have had this toothbrush for weeks now and it came just in time! I just went to the dentist and he wanted me to start using an electric toothbrush. Now I know this one is a bit of a cost upfront, but it justifies it in the end! So many features to this toothbrush and for every tooth type. I am lis...ting the pros and cons, but let me tell you, there is only one con and it is not a deal breaker, but something a future design could change. So to me, this toothbrush excels across the board! I would have put a picture of it in the original packaging, but my husband threw it away. As far as the pictures shown, the toothbrush is in its stand and accessory. You can remove the brush holder accessory from the stand, as well. Your preference. Pros * 30 second timer intervals * Dentist recommends two minutes of brushing, so 30 seconds for one fourth of your mouth * Plenty of brushing options * Daily clean * Pro clean * Sensitive – I use this daily, and it is very good for sensitive teeth like mine * 3d whitening – essentially for polishing teeth * Gun care * Tongue care * Charger stand allows for easy charge * Has a good charge * It was still full charge after a day off of the charger and one use, so it doesn't lose much charge when dormant * Easy to take care of * Make note that toothpaste will get in between the toothbrush head and the handle, so it is wise to make sure to clean that area after every use * Traveling case is well designed * The toothbrush has to be put in a certain way and will stay in place firmly during transit. Along with that there are two spots for the toothbrush heads that you may use, which are very secure as well Cons * Can't change the setting before turning the brush on * Toothpaste will fly off the brush if you take too long to change the setting if you forgot to do so before hand
We've been using Oral-B electric toothbrushes for over 15 years. Compared to the previous models we have had, this toothbrush seems to be OK, but it is missing a simple thing: Charging indicator. When you place it on the charger, you don't know if it is charging or not. Also, it would've been nice... to read _explicitly_ that this model is missing "pulsation" (in addition to the obscure "2D" and "3D" features that tell NOTHING)

OralB.comI've been using OralB electric toothbrushes since I can remember. Love them! Since that time I've tried the iO series and the Pro1000. Not so much with these. I've found the pressure of these a little too intense and my gums actually hurt when using them; even with a gentle or sensitive brush. An important difference to me came up during my last dental visit. I've always used the sensitive gum toothbrushes and have never had any issues with my teeth. But this last time, the hygienist found hard plaque on them. She and the dentist thought that was a change and asked what I had been doing - mentioned I was using the newer iO OralB with the brush that came with it...the ultimate clean that has the longer bristles along with the regular sized ones. After analyzing how that brush landed on my teeth they said the brushes were splaying on my teeth and because the brush is larger it was not cleaning along the gums or in the pockets of the teeth. But the old brush I was using (the Sensitive Gum) was smaller and therefore hitting those areas better. Now I'm buying yet another OralB (the Pro500) so I can use the Sensitive Gum replacement brush again. Now, my dentist suggests using the OralB and offers them so he knows enough about the product.....Note: I was using the OralB long before he was a proponent. Since you can't send an email on comments about products to OralB or Proctor & Gamble, I decided to just write a review. I hope this may help others if they are having the same issue. And OralB/Proctor & Gamble....please continue to manufacture the Sensitive Gum Replacement brushes and a compatible toothbrush!
Timer does not work will not turn off very disappointed
Not as good at cleaning as my pro 1000 was, so I went back to my old Pro 1000 and am keeping this one as a back up.

oralb.ca/en-caI got this toothbrush for Christmas, replacing another electric toothbrush from a different brand, and it is very disappointing. The battery does not last more than a couple of days and the motor power is very weak. I have no idea why people would like this, as the performance is so poor it barely feels like it's doing more than a manual toothbrush.

oralb.ca/en-caI purchased the Oral-B Pro 500 electric toothbrush last month and, unfortunately, I am not satisfied with its performance. The main issue is the battery life—it only lasts 3-4 days on a full charge, which is far below my expectations. While I had high hopes for this product based on its reputation, this battery issue has been disappointing. I'm currently seeking a replacement, as I believe this could be a defect with the unit I received. I would appreciate better quality control to ensure customers receive products that meet the advertised standards.

oralb.ca/en-caBoyfriend got this for me as a birthday gift a cpl years ago, but only got around to using it within the last 4 months. I love it, since I'm too cheap to buy nice things like this for myself I am so grateful that he decided on this as a present for me. I hope it never dies, you won't want to go back to manual brushing either! I've had electric toothbrushes in the past and none of them compare to this oral-b braun model.

OralB.comI warn you to never buy a product from Oral-b as they have horrendous customer service. They don't stand behind their product. They have me inaccurate information about the toothbrush I boo and then when I called to get it taken care of they promised over and over to call me back with a resolution. Well, they never call back and when I finally call again they just make the same promises to call back and I never hear from them.
I bought this yesterday.. happy with it but disappointed.. on the box it says it had 3 settings; Daily clean, Sensitive and whitening.. and I bought it for those exact settings.. when I opened it it says that the type number is 3708 and the settings are; Sensitive plus, sensitive and daily clean… how was I suppose to know that?..
This toothbrush doesn't hold a charge longer than 4 brush cycles. There's no timer or auto off function which would be nice. Philips has a built in timer and auto off for the same price. Also there's no battery indicator to let you know to recharge the toothbrush. Twice now my toothbrush has just stopped working mid brush and then it's just an expensive regular toothbrush. Not worth it. If you're looking for a good electric toothbrush at this price point then go with Philips sonicare.
