I am trying to install these, but cannot tell from instructions in package which direction to face the catch. To me, it only seems to work with the screw hole loops facing out of the cabinet at the opening and the flat edge facing INTO the cabinet. However, the instructions and pictures on this webs...

I love this gate and I will recommend it to anyone whose kid can figure things out simply and wreak havoc. Do your self a favor and get this gate. Also it looked like a wood gate so my daughter is in love with this as well.

These lightweight safety latches are awesome! Super easy to install and even easier for an adult to unlatch but impossible for my daughter!

safety1st.com/I love these! It deters my toddler without slowly ME down. I can easily go through my drawers without fiddling with a complicated latch. Easy to install if you have basic tools. I am going to buy more so I can use them on every single drawer in our home!
