We switched from kibble to Freshpet as our dogs got older and needed soft food. They loved it. However, the most recent beef chunky had full of uncooked rice and pees. As you can see, the grains in the pictures are opaque. We are very disappointed. We had to throw it away. Now we are not sure if we would buy it again. Glad I checked before feeding my senior dogs. They've had kidney problem. We don't want the uncooked rice and pees make it worse.

My beautiful 11.5 year old min pin/dachshund [Angel] has started to lose her teeth, so I decided to switch her to a soft food diet. I tried a different brand but she would not touch it. I picked up a roll of fresh pet at the store and I could not be happier that I did, because now she gets so excited for meal time that she dances around on her back legs. She is our sweet girl and we want to keep her with us as long as possible. I want to thank you for making a wonderful product.

My husband and I thought fresh pet would be just the food our Betty needed. Fast forward 6 mths later fresh pet caused more concern than anything. Bad breath,(real bad breath) constipation, and so uncomfortable for her to do anything. It's been real hard watching her not being her peppy self. We threw out fresh pet and started her on something different. It's been 5-6 days now and she's starting to feel so much better. Her poops are coming out more and her breath no longer smells like a garbage bag. I would not recommend fresh pet food. Just because it's made of healthy products and is a good price doesn't mean it's good for your fure baby.

I bought a small loaf of beef reciipe. Dogs just loved it so now I buy the big loaf .first time the food bowls are licked clean .My doxie does a little dance to get his ,!! A great product. Happy dogs, happy me . Carol Kaminski

I started her on this several years ago. She is happy alot of energy.

Ruger does so good on this food he is so shiny and happy he loves it. I top his kibbles with it and it helps him eat his dry food .

Can not get this in my area anymore. They bring it in for a couple of weeks and then you can not get it any more for a month or more. Very poor distribution system and no thanks to ordering on line to have it sit in a warm vehicle all day

Adopted a 1yr old Plotthound last yr bcz a family couldn't keep him. I recently decided to find him a better food & am introducing Petfresh slowly. He runs to wait for the prep, gives a few goofy hops around and talks like Chewbaca in anticipation.

Just started to use this and I can see that our dogs will love it.

My four fur babies LOVE Freshpet!! They get so excited for dinner time! They are so in tune that when they hear me slice the first serving all four come running!! I hand feed them all (always have!) and they line up like little birds. I toggle back and forth between beef and turkey so they get a variety! I will NEVER switch from this food. They have been eating it for years and they love it! Thanks Freshpet!!
