Not a black color, it's red.
Wanted a black color to compliment my red hair (red on top, black underneath). Saw this and thought it would work perfectly. Nope. Instead I got two different shades of red and no black. Ugh.

Image on the box shows dark blackish-purple colour, but when I coloured my medium brown hair it turned my roots orange and the rest of my hair red!! No hint of black or purple anywhere, and my roots loot ridiculous. The last thing I wanted was red hair, and now I'm stuck with it as this will be nearly impossible to get out. This is a complete waste of money. Incredibly unhappy with this product. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

I decided to try this color as i like other products i have tried my biggest problem was the Black Cherry was missing 1 main thing the black and honestly not much cherry either. Color is more like a Redwood or stretching maybe a cherry cola.

Dyed my hair for years, approximately 8 years ago, my stylist took over. Due to pandemic & after 2 months....located this product. The product covered my gray completely, no horrible odor & the conditioner left my hair silky & soft. Has been 4 weeks and no fading or brassiness. Simply love the product & color
Best Box Dye
So, I just want to point out that I usually would never use box hair dye, but I decided one night that i would try it because the color looked absolutely amazing! When I got done dying my hair I was quite surprised to see the end results! My hair looked like I went to salon, and my hair felt better too! This product is the best out there! I get so many compliments on my color that sometimes I don't want to tell people the brand and color so I can keep it all for myself!! Two years of using this color and I won't go back to anything else! Also, I do have about fifty-percent of gray hair (Root grow out) and this product covers all of them without discoloration. Whoever came up with this color you're now my favorite person!! 10 out 5 stars product!!
